12 Days / 11 Nights | Jordan • Israel • Egypt
Day 1 – Arrival in Jordan | Amman & Madaba
Arrive in Amman and begin your pilgrimage with a visit to the historic city of Madaba, renowned for its ancient Byzantine mosaics and rich Christian heritage. Explore this biblical city before transferring to your hotel in Amman for an overnight stay.
Day 2 – Mekawer, Mount Nebo & Jabbok River
Visit Mekawer (Machaerus), the fortress traditionally associated with the imprisonment and beheading of St. John the Baptist. Continue to Mount Nebo, where Moses viewed the Promised Land before his death, and visit the Jabbok River, remembered as the place where Jacob wrestled with God.
Day 3 – Nazareth & Cana
Cross into Israel and journey to Nazareth, where you will visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, St. Joseph's Workshop, and the ancient synagogue associated with Jesus' ministry. Continue to Cana, the site of Jesus' first miracle at the Wedding Feast, before overnight stay in Tiberias.
Day 4 – Sea of Galilee, Jordan River & Mount Tabor
Explore the sacred sites surrounding the Sea of Galilee, including the Mount of Beatitudes, Capernaum, Tabgha, Mensa Christi, and the Primacy of Peter. Enjoy a peaceful boat ride on the Sea of Galilee before visiting the Jordan River Baptism Site at Yardenit. Conclude the day with a visit to Mount Tabor, the traditional site of the Transfiguration.
Day 5 – Mount Carmel, Muhraka & Bethlehem
Travel to Mount Carmel and visit Elijah's Cave while enjoying panoramic views over Haifa and the famous Baháʼí Gardens. Continue to Muhraka, commemorating Elijah's victory over the prophets of Baal, before travelling to Bethlehem to visit Shepherds' Field and the Church of the Nativity.
Day 6 – Mount of Olives, Mount Zion & Bethany
Walk in the footsteps of Jesus on the Mount of Olives, visiting the Chapel of the Ascension, Pater Noster Church, Dominus Flevit, and the Garden of Gethsemane. Continue to Mount Zion to visit St. Peter in Gallicantu, the Upper Room, and King David's Tomb before concluding the day at Bethany, home to the Tomb of Lazarus.
Day 7 – Bethel, Shiloh, Qasr Al Yahud, Jericho & the Dead Sea
Visit Bethel, where Jacob dreamed of the ladder reaching heaven, before continuing to ancient Shiloh, the resting place of the Tabernacle for centuries. Visit Qasr Al Yahud, the traditional baptism site of Jesus on the Jordan River, continue to Jericho to view the Mount of Temptation, and conclude the day with a memorable floating experience in the Dead Sea.
Day 8 – Jerusalem Old City & Ein Karem
Explore the sacred treasures of Jerusalem's Old City, including the Western Wall, the Pool of Bethesda, Via Dolorosa, Calvary, and Golgotha. Participate in a meaningful Communion Service at the Garden Tomb before visiting Ein Karem, traditionally recognised as the birthplace of St. John the Baptist.
Day 9 – Crossing into Egypt & the Red Sea
Depart the Holy Land and travel south through the Jordan Valley before crossing into Egypt via Taba. Spend time relaxing along the beautiful shores of the Red Sea before checking into your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 10 – St. Catherine's Monastery & Cairo
Discover Egypt's legendary treasures with visits to the magnificent Pyramids of Giza, the Great Sphinx, and the world-renowned Egyptian Museum. Continue to the historic churches of Old Cairo, including the Hanging Church, St. George Church, the Church of Saints Sergius and Bacchus, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. Explore the vibrant Khan El Khalili Bazaar before ending the day with a memorable Nile Dinner Cruise.
Day 11 – Pyramids, Old Cairo & Nile Cruise
Discover Egypt's legendary treasures with visits to the magnificent Pyramids of Giza, the Great Sphinx, and the world-renowned Egyptian Museum. Continue to the historic churches of Old Cairo, including the Hanging Church, St. George Church, the Church of Saints Sergius and Bacchus, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. Day 12 – Mokattam Cave Church & Departure
